Black Bear Tongass National Forest
A large adult American black bear sow chases an intruder bear over a rock outcropping at Anan Creek in the Tongass National Forest, Alaska. Anan Creek is one of the most prolific salmon runs in Alaska and dozens of black and brown bears gather yearly to feast on the spawning salmon.
