Brown Bears in the McNeil River State Game Sanctuary Alaska
A group of visitors escorted by Sanctuary Manager Tom Griffin return to camp after a day of close-up brown bear viewing at the McNeil River State Game Sanctuary on the Kenai Peninsula, Alaska. The remote site is accessed only with a special permit and is the world’s largest seasonal population of brown bears in their natural environment.
