Brown Bears in the McNeil River State Game Sanctuary Alaska
A grizzly bear sow guards her sleeping spring cubs along the lower lagoon at the McNeil River State Game Sanctuary on the Kenai Peninsula, Alaska. The remote site is accessed only with a special permit and is the world’s largest seasonal population of brown bears.
