Brown Bears in the McNeil River State Game Sanctuary Alaska

A brown bear spring cub rests half out of the water at the McNeil River State Game Sanctuary on the Kenai Peninsula, Alaska. The remote site is accessed only with a special permit and is the world’s largest seasonal population of wild brown bears in their natural environment.
