Brown Bears in the McNeil River State Game Sanctuary Alaska
Brown bear spring cubs climb up a bluff to hide from a threat along the lower lagoon at the McNeil River State Game Sanctuary on the Kenai Peninsula, Alaska. The remote site is accessed only with a special permit and is the world’s largest seasonal population of brown bears in their natural environment.
