Folly Beach Mayor Tim Goodwin addresses surfers gathered for a traditional memorial paddle out to honor and remember the nine people killed at the historic mother Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church June 27, 2015 in Folly Beach, South Carolina. Earlier in the week a white supremacist gunman killed 9 members at the historically black church.
