The historic Stanley Hotel, a 142-room Colonial Revival hotel built in 1909, near the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes Park, Colorado. The hotel served as the inspiration for the Overlook Hotel in the Stephen King bestselling novel The Shining.
