Bald Eagle Tongass National Forest

An adult Bald Eagle watches for scraps of salmon from a tree perch as bears feed at Anan Creek in the Tongass National Forest, Alaska. Anan Creek is one of the most prolific salmon runs in Alaska and dozens of black and brown bears gather yearly to feast on the spawning salmon.
